The Fiscal & Business Services Procurement Program obtains the services, software, equipment, and supplies needed to support our operations and fulfill our mission to the public. Vendors are encouraged to use this page to learn how to find bidding opportunities, statewide procurement tools, training, and vendor support. This page also provides an overview of the types of goods and services we purchase, helping both prospective bidders and the public understand our procurement needs and how we partner with the business community.

The California Coastal Commission follows statewide procurement requirements established by the Department of General Services (DGS).

How to Do Business with the State of California

Vendors are encouraged to review the following resources before responding to Commission solicitations.

Small Business (SB) / Microbusiness (MB), Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) Program

Vendors are encouraged to review the following resources before responding to Commission solicitations.

  • SB/DVBE First Policy
The Commission’s SB/DVBE First Policy requires procurement staff to procure goods and services from California-certified SB/MB and DVBE vendors whenever possible.

Our team uses the SB/DVBE Certification Database to find potential vendors, add these vendors to internal vendor lists throughout the year, and utilize the SB/DVBE Option procurement method whenever possible.
  • SB/DVBE Participation
Vendors with questions about SB/DVBE certification, outreach opportunities, or how to engage with the Commission are encouraged to contact the Commission’s SB/DVBE Advocate using the button at the top of this page.

Vendors may submit a request to be added to the applicable vendor list by clicking the button at the top of this page.

Vendors are strongly encouraged to maintain active certification and vendor profiles to maximize visibility during outreach and market research activities.

Find Procurement Opportunities

The Commission uses multiple pathways to communicate procurement opportunities, depending on the procurement method and requirements.
  • CaleProcure
The Commission’s current and historical formal solicitations are posted on CaleProcure under Department 3720.
  • This Procurement Page
Provides links to CaleProcure and DGS, Notices of Intent to Award, and other procurement information.
  • Commission Vendor Lists
For certain procurement activities that do not require formal advertisement on CaleProcure, the Commission uses internal vendor lists to support outreach, market research, and informal solicitations, as permitted by State policy.

Vendors may submit a request to be added to the applicable vendor list by clicking the button at the top of this page.

Inclusion on Commission distribution lists supports outreach and market research but does not replace CaleProcure registration or guarantee notice of all opportunities.
